Valiant’s spring lineup includes four new limited series, collectively released under the moniker Breakthrough.

The first of the four series, The Life and Death of Toyo Harada, will be in stores in March. Announced earlier this year (see “'The Life and Death of Toyo Harada'”), the six-issue miniseries is written by Joshua Dysart (Harbinger) and illustrated by a rotating cast of artists, including CAFU (Rai), Mico Suayan (Bloodshot Reborn), Lewis LaRosa (Bloodshot Salvation), and Adam Pollina (X-Force).

Cullen Bunn (Venom) and artist Adam Gorham (Rocket) tell a supernatural tale about a British voodoo priestess living just outside New Orleans in Punk Mambo. The first of five issues is on sale in April.

Dan Abnett (Guardians of the Galaxy) and artist Adam Pollina spin a far future cyberpunk tale in the five-issue miniseries Fallen World. Set in 4002 AD and centering on cyborg samurai Rai, the first issue is in stores in May.

In Killers from B. Clay Moore (Savage) and artist Fernando Dagnino (Suicide Squad), the world’s deadliest superspies compete for the ultimate prize. The first issue is on shelves in July.

As previously announced, Valiant will also release a limited series centered on Unity villain War-Monger in February (see “Valiant Remembers 'The Forgotten Queen'”).
