As announced last year, Alderac Entertainment Group plans to release two international-themed expansions for Smash Up! (see “‘Smash Up!’ Plans World Tour – With Penguins”).  The first of these, International Incident, features factions from Japan, France, Mexico, and Canada:  Sumo Wrestlers, Musketeers, Luchadores, and Mounties.  The promised penguins, presumably, are waiting for the follow-up set planned for autumn release.

This stand-alone expansion includes 88 cards, 4 card dividers, and a sheet of tokens.  It can be played on its own with 2 players or combined with other Smash Up!  sets, and is recommended for ages 14 and up.  Games take about 45 minutes to play.  MSRP is $24.99.
