Fantasy Flight Games unveiled Doctor Strange: Hero Pack and Doctor Strange: Game Mat, for use with Marvel Champions: The Card Game, for release into trade in May.

Doctor Strange: Hero Pack features a pre-constructed Invocation deck for the Sorcerer Supreme that utilizes the Protection aspect. The deck contains a number of cards that interact with Doctor Strange's Spell Mastery ability as well as new nemesis cards such as Baron Mordo. This pack will also include other dimensional defenders, like Iron Fist and The Night Nurse, to help the Master of the Mystic Arts protect the Earthly plane. Doctor Strange: Hero Pack will carry a MSRP of $14.95.

Fantasy Flight Games will also release a 24" x 12" Doctor Strange: Game Mat to accompany the Hero Pack. This new mat features art of Doctor Strange preparing to cast a spell while in mid-air. Doctor Strange: Game Mat will retail for $19.95.

Fantasy Flight Games also announced the Thor: Hero Pack and Mat for March 2020 (see "The God of Thunder Crashes His Way Into 'Marvel Champions: Card Game'").
