Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG releases scheduled through May “are all on track to ship as planned” despite the coronavirus, a Konami spokesperson confirmed to ICv2. Those include Secret Slayers Boosters, Structure Deck: Mechanized Madness, and Eternity Code Boosters (see “’Eternity Code’ Brings Plunder Patroll to ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG’”). Yu-GI-Oh! TCG Duel Overload (see “Link Monsters Overtake ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG’ in ‘Duel Overload’”) shipped as scheduled earlier this month.
If it’s business as usual for Yu-Gi-Oh!, a new tin must be coming late this summer, and Konami did announce the annual release: Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG 2020 Tin will street August 28. Little information and no images were released, but Konami did reveal that the contents will be similar to that of recent years, with a mix of 2019 cards and other cards and Mega-Packs. As far as theme, the tin will display the beginning of the Duel between the Pharaoh and Priest Seto as depicted on the artifact that inspired Kaiba to create the Battle City Tournament, the Tablet of Lost Memories.
