Jane Ritson-Parsons has joined the board of directors of Flat River Group, the company announced. Ritson-Parsons spent 25 years in management positions at Hasbro, capped with 10 years as Group Executive, Global Brand Marketing, a role in which she transformed multiple global brand marketing functions into one integrated global organization. She was also President, Licensing at HIT Entertainment from 1989-1993.
"Her deep experience with global brands and licensing will help us continue to rapidly expand our business," Flat River Co-Founder and President Matt Stahlin said of Ritson-Parsons.
Flat River is a major distributor of mainstream toys and games to ecomm retailers, and also operates Impressions Game Distribution Services for hobby games. It has been on an aggressive growth tear recently, completing a majority recapitalization late last year (see "Game and Toy Distributor Completes Majority Recapitalization"), and added a new distribution center and senior staff this summer (see "Flat River Group Adds Distribution Center, Senior Staff").
