Of the five hires added to Scout's team, two of them have backgrounds in practicing law. Lesa Miller, who is now their new COO, has a Juris Doctor from Stetson School of Law, and has managed two successful law practices and commercial property company. Trent Miller, who was actually hired to be their General Counsel, is a circuit civil mediator and litigator in the state of Florida with 25 years experience.

Other new hires include their new Marketing Liason Megan Marsden, who comes to Scout by way of Diamond distribution, and their new Head of Design Joel Rodriguez, who runs Brink of Reality Productions. Andrea Lorenzo Molinari has also been added to the team as an Editorial Director after being one of the co-creators of Black Caravan's The Shepard graphic novel series.     

Scout Comics & Entertainment, Inc. recently announced the launch of Scoot!, a new imprint for young readers ages four to twelve, for January 2021 (see "Scout Comic & Entertainment, Inc. Will Launch Scoot!").
