PREVIEWSworld Pullbox, Diamond Comic Distributors’ online ordering tool, will exit beta and be launched to consumers on June 7, the company announced.  The tool was announced in February of 2018 (see “Diamond Launching PREVIEWSworld Pullbox”), and went into beta testing a few months later (see “Diamond Reveals Retailer Pricing”).

“We took advantage of an extended beta test period to add more features and enhance the functionality of these tools,”Geppi Family Enterprises Chief Sales & Service Officer Chris Powell said in a statement accompanying the announcement.  “We have heard from many retailers already that PULLBOX has increased their sales while providing added convenience for their customers.”

The service has accumulated users during the beta-testing period, Diamond said in its announcement: over 300 stores and over 17,000 consumers.

The service allows consumers to sync orders with participating comic retailers, manage preorders and subscriptions, place special orders, keep a wish list, and track weekly purchases, with e-mail alerts for order confirmations and when orders are available for pick-up.

Diamond promises a broad range of products in the service, including comics and graphic novels from DC, which it does not distribute in North America.

PREVIEWSworld Pullbox is free to consumers; retailers pay a small monthly or annual charge.
