The undead get a book of their own for Warhammer Age of Sigmar:  Soulbound with the release of Champions of Death in Q1 next year.

Champions of Death explores the restless dead with new rules and options for the Soulbound game.  The 144-page book reveals details about the Great Necromancer Nagash and his troubled history with the Soulbound and offers rules for players to assume the role of ghouls, wights, Soulblight vampires, nighthaunts, and ossiarch bonereapers.

20 new Archetypes with an undead flavor are featured, including Vampire Lord and Knight of Shrouds, along with new undead sub-factions.  There are also 50 new Talents, 30 Endeavours, 10 Miracles of Nagash, and 50 spells designed for use by the undead, five of which are new Endless Spells.

Rounding out the book is advice for Gamemasters who want to run a Death-focused campaign and stats for a dozen Forces of Order to use as antagonists.

MSRP is $39.99.

Cubicle 7 is poised to release the Steam and Steel sourcebook for Soulbound as well (see “Cubicle 7 Unleashes ‘Warhammer Age of Sigmar Soulbound:  Steam and Steel’”).
