This game fantasy Renaissance game was designed by Simone Luciani, Virginio Gigli and Flaminia Brasini, the same team that designed Lorenzo il Magnifico (see "'Lorenzo il Magnifico' Returns"). The game is based on a 16th century legend about a clay creature that Rabbi Loew animated to protect the people in the Prague ghetto. Players take on the roles of rabbis who create similar creatures to police their neighborhoods.
The game plays out in four rounds that consist of seven phases each. At the beginning of each round, players place marbles into a 3D synagogue and then play out their turn accordingly, which includes actions like activating their golems, getting resources to build new golems, performing spells, and more. Players score points for active or buried golems, artifacts, books, goal cards, and how their personal board develops.
This game is for one to four players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 120 minutes. It will retail for $79.99.
