ReedPop will partner with the Entertainment Software Association to produce E3, the long-running interactive entertainment show, beginning in 2023, the company and association announced. The show was canceled in 2020 and 2022, and held online in 2021; the revived show in June 2023 will be the first live event in four years.
The show will be run by ReedPop Global VP of Gaming Kyle Marsden-Kish, who will run E3 in addition to his current responsibilities, which include the Pax shows.
The 2023 show will incorporate "in-person consumer components" along with the B2B functions on which the show was built. Limited numbers of consumers were allowed to attend the show beginning in 2017.
