These decks were first announced on July 5, 2022 with a release date scheduled for October 14, 2022 (see "'Magic: The Gathering: Pioneer Challenger Decks 2022'"). The new release date will be November 4, 2022 due to supply chain disruptions and delays, which have plagued WotC throughout most of the year (see "Pushes Back 'Magic: The Gathering' 'Warhammer 40,000' Set" and also, "'Double Masters 2022' Delays"). The new date will allow WotC to achieve a concurrent global release for this product as well as give the Game Night: Free For All the October 14, 2022 release date all to itself (see "Game Night: Free For All").
