Earlier this year, Brandon Sanderson broke the record for the most successful Kickstarter of all time by raising $41.7 million from 185,341 backers (about $225 per backer) for four Secret Project books, which will be delivered as quarterly releases in 2023. Now, he is directing those backers toward a new miniatures and figurines Kickstarter campaign based on The Stormlight Archive in a direct partnership with Brotherwise Games. Brotherwise and Sanderson had previously teamed up to produce a The Stormlight Archive version of Call to Adventure (see "The Stormlight Archive").
There will be four sets of 34 mm plastic unpainted miniatures available through this Kickstarter alongside with four larger scale painted figurines. This Kickstarter campaign will feature a discounted retailer pledge level, and Brotherwise will bring these miniatures and figurines to retail stores in Q4 2023. The gallery below features an ICv2 exclusive first look at the Shardbearer Adolin miniature that comes in the Way of Kings miniature pack in this Kickstarter.
