The 30th Anniversary Edition offers reprints of Beta Edition cards with a different card back art. It features cards like Black Lotus, the Moxes, Ancestral Recall, Dual Lands, and more, but all as non-tournament legal reprints with either modern-frames or retro frame treatments. These cards will come in displays containing four 15-card packs each, and packs contain a 13 modern-frame Beta reprints and cards with retro-frame treatments (a basic land and a random card). While the set does technically reprint various Reserved List cards, they are not tournament legal due to their card backs, so the Reserved List policy doesn't apply. However, the reprints do fill a functional need for some Magic consumers as far as non-competitive, casual games of Commander and Cube Draft are concerned. Once sleeved, the 30th Anniversary Edition reprints can serve as premium proxies for casual gamers, much like the cards in the Magic: The Gathering International Edition Collector's Edition and the World Championships decks have in the past.
