Marvel Comics mapped out its plans for six editorial events scheduled to take place through Summer 2023, including two previously unannounced, at New York Comic Con.
Avengers Assemble, announced at San Diego Comic-Con (see "Avengers Crossover Announced"), will be written by Jason Aaron with art by Bryan Hitch, Javier Garron, and Aaron Kuder. It will tie together Aaron’s work on three different series, Avengers, Avengers Forever, and Avengers of 1,000,000 BC in one unified saga of a massive battle that will span time and the universe.
X-Men/Spider-Man crossover Dark Web, also announced at San Diego Comic-Con (see "’Dark Web’ Event"), will launch in December (see "Preview: ‘Dark Web’ Crossover Covers").
Sins of Sinister, announced at New York Comic Con (see "Marvel Announces New X-Men Event"), will show the dark future from Mister Sinister’s machinations. It will debut in January.
Captain America Cold War will bring together Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson’s storylines into an event launching in Spring 2023 (see "Two Captain America Series Converge").
Next up is the previously unannounced Summer of Symbiotes, spinning out of titles like Venom, Carnage, and Red Goblin, launching Summer 2023.
And the last of the run of events is Fall of X, also launching Summer 2023, in which we find out if the X-Men were right when they hoped that Krakoa would last forever.
