Dark Horse Comics and Things from Another World have both promoted senior staff to vice president positions.
TFAW has promoted Jules Morales to Vice President of Retail Sales. Morales came to TFAW as a Marketing and Events Specialist in 2019 and has been promoted four times in three years. He is currently responsible for the day-to-day operations of both TFAW’s brick-and-mortar stores and its website. Cara O’Neil is Dark Horse’s new Vice President of Marketing. A graduate of Portland State University’s Masters in Publishing program, O’Neil started at Dark Horse in 2017 as Senior Manager of Social Media and Marketing Communications and was promoted to Senior Director of Marketing last May (See “People on the Move”). Her predecessor as VP was Matt Parkinson, who moved to Image in June after 17 years at Dark Horse (see “Former Dark Horse VP Matt Parkinson Moves to Image”).
