The agreement between Jasco Games and Asmodee USA covered exclusive distribution of their products, including their Universus and My Hero Academia collectible card games, to hobby, gift, and toy retail. This deal was originally reached back in 2021 (see "Asmodee USA and Jasco Games Strike a Distribution Deal"). Under the agreement, Asmodee sold to some other distributors as sub-distributors.  The agreement ended after the launch of My Hero Academia CCG: League of Villains, which arrived today, March 3, 2023 (see "'My Hero Academia CCG' Booster Set").  

 “We are committed to offering all local game stores access to our products through their preferred distribution partner,” said a representative at Jasco Games about the end of the exclusivity deal.

Jasco Games plans to continue working with Asmodee USA, but will add also other distributors throughout the U.S. and Canada.
