The new boxed set features a narrative campaign for players to battle through. It revolves around new Inquisitorial Agents. They can deputize six different groups of battle-hardened souls to take on the campaign with them. The Tempestus Scions and Sisters of Silence Kasrkin are included in the boxed set, but the Agents can also draft Imperial Navy Breachers, Arbites Exaction Squads, or Veteran Guardsmen into their ranks. This expansion includes a total of 40 miniatures and requires only a killzone to play through.

Games Workshop also revealed the first two models from their upcoming Warhammer: The Old World miniatures line (see "'Warhammer: The Old World'").
