Marvel Comics will launch a new Alien series this fall, starting with Alien Annual #1 in October 2023 and following up with the newly renumbered Alien #1 in November. The creative team of writer Declan Shalvey and artist Andrea Broccardo will remain the same, but the new story will be set in two different eras, with Shalvey also handling the art for the flashback scenes about an earlier, ill-fated mission. The new series will continue to develop the story of the new Xenomorph species introduced in the first arc (see “New ‘Alien’ Ongoing Series to Feature New Cast, Stories”). Alien #1 will be released on November 15, 2023, with a cover by Javi Fernández.
The current storyline will wrap up with Alien #5 in September, and the collected edition of that arc will also be available on November 15.
