Christopher Golden, Tim Lebbon, and Peter Bergting, the creators of the illustrated horror novella Festival, are back with a new horror comic, Mortal Terror!  The four-part miniseries is co-written by Golden and Lebbon with art by Bergting and colors by Chris O’Halloran.  Dark Horse Comics will release the first issue on November 22, 2023 with a variant cover by Mike Mignola.

The series flips the Dracula story on its head, with Jonathan Harker, Lucy Westenra, and Mina Murray protecting an undead underground London from the mortals above.  The problem is that the authorities in the city of vampires don’t believe in mortals, insisting they are only a myth.

Mignola and Golden teamed up on the Hellboy in Love miniseries in 2022 (see “Hellboy Creator Mike Mignola Returns for a Romantic Tale in New Miniseries”).
