Dynamite Entertainment has announced a new comic series based on the second volume of Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time high fantasy novels. The Wheel of Time: The Great Hunt, adapted by writer Rik Hoskin and artist Marco Abreu, will launch in November, and the first issue will have variant covers by Mel Rubi and Jordan Gunderson as well as photo covers based on the Amazon Prime series (see “‘Wheel of Time’ at Amazon”). The second season of the Prime series will launch in September.

Dynamite has published comics adaptations of the prequel New Spring and the first novel The Eye of the World, both of which were collected into graphic novels published by Tor Books. The previous series wrapped up in 2013.
