Brian Michael Bendis is reuniting with Alex Maleev for Masterpiece, a six-issue action/adventure comic from Dark Horse Comics.  The series stars a sixteen-year-old girl who's both an inventive genius and a popular webcartoonist.  She's blackmailed by a famous billionaire into organizing a heist to make up for her parents’ previous crimes.

It will be released under Bendis' Jinxworld imprint, which moved to Dark Horse in 2021 (see "Bendis Moving Titles to Dark Horse").  Bendis and Maleev previously worked together on Scarlet and Daredevil.

The first issue will have three covers: the main cover by Maleev, a variant cover by Tula Lotay, and a 1:10 incentive variant for retailers by Peach Momoko.  It carries a $3.99 cover price and will be released on December 13.
