Steamforged Games will release a new edition of Reiner Knizia's Medici, a classic auction game, into retail in Q1 2024.

This game was originally printed in 1995, and stayed in print for a decade.  About a decade after it left print, it was re-published in 2016 by Grail Games (see "'Medici' Returns"), and spawned a spinoff game (see "New 'Medici' Card Game").  The new version by Steamforged offers the same merchant bidding action of the original release with all-new artwork and graphics.  They have also introduced character art to the game.
