Paranoia: The Core Book is a new edition of the classic West End RPG, which was originally published in 1984 (see "Mongoose Revives 'Paranoia'") and inducted into the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design Hall of Fame in 2008 (see "2008 Origins Award Winners"). Mongoose had revived the game a few times since acquiring the rights with various new editions (see "'Paranoia' RPG"). The newest edition offers a core book with updated rules and new artwork. The latest edition was written and designed by WJ MacGuffin and Keith Garrett.
