The Op will be offering Levity Games’ nature-celebrating Euro-style boardgame Gnome Hollow to the trade in Q3 of 2024.
Created and illustrated by Ammon Anderson (T.A.C.O.: Taunt, Attack, Conquer, Obsess), Gnome Hollow is a game about creating and harvesting “fairy rings” of mushrooms. In the game, players use their gnome workers to place tiles and take actions, hoping to complete the fairy rings. When a ring is complete, it can then be harvested for points and other rewards. Completing rings can also award special signposts, which open up new worker-placement spaces for more options.
The game artwork celebrates the beauty of nature alongside whimsical gnomes through watercolor illustrations on the game components, cards, and tokens. Gnome Hollow comes with 100 garden tiles, 10 gnome meeples, 5 double-side player boards, 270 tokens and markers, and 40 cards. The game is intended for 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in a little under an hour.
