Anime NYC brought fans and creators to the Javits Center on November 17-19, 2023, for a weekend of anime premieres, manga news (see "Anime NYC: Kodansha to Publish Uta Isaki’s ‘The Spellbook Library’"), shopping, and cosplaying.
Event Director MK Goodwin told ICv2 that this year's attendance was 60,000 unique attendees; that's up from 55,000 in 2022 and 53,000 in 2021. The show, which sells out every year, will move from its current November time slot to August in 2024 in order to secure the entire main building of the Javits Center.
