Miles Morales, whose popularity as a Spider-Man alter ego just got a boost from his appearance in the animated film Across the Spider-Verse, will appear in his 300th issue in March 2024, and Marvel Comics plans to mark the milestone with a giant-sized issue. Miles Morales: Spider-Man #18 will pit Morales and allies Prowler and Ms. Marvel against Rabble and an array of Marvel villains. The issue will be written by current Miles Morales scribe Cody Ziglar with art by regular series artist Federico Vicetini as well as Juann Cabal, David Marquez, and Miles Morales co-creator Sara Pichelli. The issue will be released on March 27, 2024, with a main cover by Vicentini and a variant by Marquez.
Across the Spider-Verse, the second in a trilogy of animated films, was one of the top films of summer 2023 (see “‘Spider-Verse’ Beats ‘The Flash’”). Morales will team up with his Spider-colleague Peter Parker in the new ongoing series Spectacular Spider-Men, which will also launch in March (see “New Ongoing ‘Spectacular Spider-Men’ Title”).
