Asmodee and Thrilly inked an exclusive distribution agreement to bring Drop Cup, a new party game, to Target stores on January 7, 2024. The game will head to hobby retail after the Target exclusive window closes later this year.
Drop Cup is a party game that was inspired by the Money Ball Challenge, a social media sensation where players try to drop ping pong balls into various cups hanging off the edge of a table to win cash. Drop Cup's design allows for the cups to be clipped to tables and countertops so that toss, roll, or bounce ping pong balls into the cups.
"After 2 years, and a lot of hard work, we’re beyond excited for Drop Cup’s debut at Target. Asmodee's experience in the industry is invaluable, and their support has been crucial to giving Drop Cup this opportunity. We look forward to continuing working with them, and to bring new and exciting games to market soon.” said Joe Caiola, Founder of Thrilly.
This game is for two to 12 players, ages 7 and up, and plays in 10 to 25 minutes. It will retail for $19.99.
Asmodee will also release Marabunta, a new write and roll game by Space Cowboys, into U.S. retail (see "'Marabunta' into U.S. Retail").
