Lucky Duck Games revealed Sweet Mess, a new board game, for release into U.S. retail on February 9, 2024.
In this game, players are chefs entered in the Sweet Mess Pastry Competition. They will need to gather Ingredients from Bowls, prepare Recipes, and then complete them in order to claim Awards. As players complete more Recipes they will get more points. The will also be able to gain access new kitchen Tools and Golden Tokens along the way to gain an upper hand over their opponents.
The game box comes with a main board, 4 individual trays, 3 side tiles, 16 Bowl tiles, a Chef tile, 24 stored ingredient tokens, 58 Recipe cards, 6 Chef cards, 24 Utensil cards, 4 Prized Shelf tiles, 18 Prize tokens, 28 Gold tokens, an Initiative/Timer token, a scorebook, 4 Reservation tokens, 4 Action tokens, and a rulebook. This game is for one to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 45 to 60 minutes. It will retail for $40.00.
Lucky Duck Games will also release Nestlings into retail (see "'Nestlings'").
