Cubicle 7 is producing a new roleplaying game inspired by the recent launch of Warhammer:  The Old World from Games Workshop.

Cubicle 7 founder Dominic McDowall announced the new game at Warhammer World’s Warhammer:  The Old World launch event, saying, “Exploring a new era with Warhammer: The Old World is an honour and a privilege.”

Warhammer:  The Old World represents a return to the original setting for the Warhammer fantasy tabletop game, before it was re-imagined as Age of Sigmar.  The resurrected setting emerges this year, starting with a pair of army boxes, rulebooks, and accessories (see “Launch Range for ‘Warhammer:  The Old World’”).

Cubicle 7 has an established track record for producing Warhammer-based role playing games, including its version of the venerable Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, which will soon receive a new setting book (see “Cubicle 7 Will Release New ‘Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay’ Setting Book into Retail”), as well as Soulbound, based on Warhammer Age of Sigmar (see “More ‘Warhammer’ RPG Books Coming from Cubicle 7”) and the Warhammer 40,000-inspired Wrath & Glory (see “Cubicle 7 Will Release New ‘Warhammer 40,000:  Wrath & Glory’ Book”).
