Fire & Swords was first announced back at Gen Con 2023 (see " Gen Con 2023 News"). This expansion adds new battlegrounds to the game for the "War in the North" as well as new factions. It also adds a new location type called Skirmishes, and allows for the addition of a sixth player to the game. Ares will now release this expansion in June 2024, where it had been previously scheduled for as spring 2024.
Ares Games also announced three new games that will be coming to market in the second half of 2024 (see "Three New Games").
