In this game, players take command of a 5th-century kingdom in Europe at a time where the barbarians are on the rise. They can choose to play one of six barbarian nations (Huns, Ostrogoths, Vandals, Visigoths, Franks, and Anglo-Saxons), and attempt to dominate the continent as the world transitions from Antiquity to the Middle Ages. This game features a blend of area control and resource management mechanisms. Throughout the game, players will engage in strategic actions, such as recruiting warriors, collecting taxes, assaulting provinces, maneuvering units, and claiming territories. Their ultimate goal is to control seven territories and wipe out two rival kings.
The game is for three to six players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 30-90 minutes. It will retail for $49.90.
