This new game was revealed in September 2023 (see "'Star Trek: Into the Unknown' Core Set"), and WizKids had mock boxes and preview kits on display at GAMA Expo 2024. At AdeptiCon 2024, they had copies of the Preview Kits set up on tables for attendees to try out. It is a space combat skirmish game, where players navigate a tabletop star field in an attempt to outmaneuver their opponent's ships. The preview set featured Jem'Hadar Fighter up against a Defiant-class Escort vessel that was commanded by Captain Sisko.

Star Trek: Into the Unknown will hit retail in April 2024.
