ICv2 visits AdeptiCon on a yearly basis for a number of reasons. However, one of the main reasons to cover this particular show is that it showcases gorgeous tabletop setups that can transfer over to retail play areas. As noted in last year's article (see "AdeptiCon 2023"), retailers might find it useful to invest time and money into terrain tabletop setups for open gaming for a few reasons, but mainly to encourage customers to play and stay in the store for a longer period of time. The longer customers remain in the store, the better the chances are that they will end up buying something.
AdeptiCon 2024 had all kinds of beautiful terrain setups. The companies highlighted in 2024's terrain showcase include Games Workshop, Dwarven Forge, Atomic Mass Games, Corvus Belli and more.
