Evenfall, a Matagot card-driven engine-building game in a supernatural world, will be released in North America in Q2. Players manage resources, choose the order in which to exercise actions, and find card and action synergies that generate victory points.
The milieu for Evenfall is a world in which the boundaries of reality collapse and the supernatural awakens as the World-Tree opens its gateways to unknown distant regions.. Players send witches from their clan to find and control Places of Power, hold arcane rituals, and battle for the favor of the Powerstones in a quest to occupy the Enchanted Throne.
Evenfall is for 1-4 players ages 14 and up, and plays in 60-120 minutes. MSRP is $59.99. Evenfall is distributed in the U.S. by Flat River. Matagot titles had frequently been distributed here by Asmodee in the past (see “’St. Patrick’”).
