Abrams ComicArts will publish a new edition of Alex Ross’s best-selling Fantastic Four: Full Circle, with new material, some of which has never been published before.
Fantastic Four: Full Circle (Expanded Edition) will be a 352-page hardcover with a 10.5” x 13.5” trim size, making it both thicker and larger than the original 64-page version. The extra pages will include Ross’s unpublished preparatory material, from thumbnails to sketches, inks, and color guides, along with Ross’s commentary, a reprint of the 1966 comic Fantastic Four #51, which served as his inspiration, and his 2023 variant covers featuring the FF in costumes designed for the graphic novel. The full-color book will be released on Octobe 1, 2024, with an MSRP of $65.
Fantastic Four: Full Circle was the launch title for Abrams’ MarvelArts imprint (see “Abrams ComicArts Launching Marvel Graphic Novel Line”), and was named the Graphic Novel of the Year by the National Cartoonists’ Society; it was also a best-seller, debuting on the BookScan Top 20 (see “September 2022 NPD BookScan – Top 20 Adult Graphic Novels”).
