Konami will release a pair of special commemorative Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG accessories, only through its Official Tournament Stores, in conjunction with the World Championship’s return to the U.S. this fall, the company announced. The accessories are based on the World Championship prize card for the 2013 event in Las Vegas, Grandopolis, The Eternal Golden City, and go on sale on September 7, the weekend of the 2024 World Championship.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Grandopolis, The Eternal Golden City - 2013 World Championship Commemorative Game Mat features the art from the 2013 card and the World Championship logo on a mat the same size as the Game Mats used as prizing in Konami-sanctioned events.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Grandopolis, The Eternal Golden City - 2013 World Championship Commemorative Card Sleeves feature art from the card on 100 sleeves, made to tournament regulation standards for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG.
The 2024 World Championship will be held at Fremont Studios in Seattle, Washington on September 7-8. For the first time, in addition to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG tournament, tournaments will also be held for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links Speed Duel, and Yu-GI-Oh! Duel Links Rush Duel.
The North American World Championship Qualifier will be held July 19-21 in Austin, Texas.
