Chronicle Books will release three new gift items, a book of Marvel infographics, a Marvel mindfulness guide, and a Marvel fitness deck, for Fall.
Marvel Super Graphic: A Visual Guide to the Marvel Universe features infographics, pie charts, bar graphs, Venn diagrams, story arc guides, and other visually-presented information on the Marvel universe, laying out facts like the winners of each fight between the Thing and the Hulk, or how many stomach tablets Galactus would have to take if he ate the earth. This 7.25” x 9.25”, 176-page volume will be released on September 24 at $22.95 MSRP
In a sign that the whole mindfulness thing may have jumped the shark, Marvel Hulk Not Smash: Practice Mindfulness the Mighty Marvel Way presents mindfulness guidance from Marvel characters, as Hulk chooses to smash or not to smash, Mister Fantastic practices flexibility, Shuri uses problem-solving skills, and Doctor Strange develops awareness. The 6.5” x 6.5”, 80-page book is written by Amy Ratcliffe, with illustrations by Jason Loo; it will be released October 8 at $14.95 MSRP.
The Marvel Fitness Deck: Be the Hero of Your Exercise Adventure includes 50 cards with exercises inspired by Marvel characters. The 4” x 6” box of 50 cards will be released on August 6 at $19.95.
