Blue Orange Games will release Next Station Paris, a new transit board game by Matthew Dunstan, into retail in Q3 2024.
This is the third game in the Next Station series of games, following up on Next Station London and Next Station Tokyo. It is a network and route building game with mechanics driven by line drawing. In this game, players flip station cards and draw subway lines on their maps in order to optimize their Parisian metro routes. Along the way, they need to utilize bridge crossings, visit the French capital’s monuments, and take advantage of the central platform to link shortcuts in the routes for efficiency purposes.
Next Station Paris is for one to four players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 25-30 minutes. It will retail for $19.99.
Designer Matthew Dunstan also worked on The Guild of Merchant Explorers, which was recently nominated for a Kennerspiel des Jahres award (see "2024 Nominees Unveiled").
