The SDCC showbiz announcements keep on rolling in, and it's time for a bonus round-up!

James Gunn took to social media on July 30, 2024 to tell the world that Superman: Legacy had officially wrapped main production.  This movie had begun filming in the final week of February 2024, taking only about five months to complete (see "'Superman: Legacy' to Begin Filming"), which is fairly fast for principal photography.  The movie is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2025 (see "Best in Shows -- 2025").

Marvel Studios revealed that Harrison Ford's Thunderbolt Ross will transform into the Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World, according to Variety.  Giancarlo Esposito will play Sidewinder, the King of the Serpent Society.  Esposito's footage was part of the reshoots that happened over the course of 22 shooting days in Atlanta (see "'Captain America' Movie Reshoots").

Corvus Belli’s Infinity miniatures game (see "’Ariadna Packs’") is being adapted as an animated series, produced and directed by Jay Oliva (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Zack Snyder’s Twilight of the Gods).  Animation set in Infinity’s far future science fiction universe was debuted at San Diego Comic-Con.  Lex+Otis and TeamTO are the production companies involved.  The series is currently being shopped.

Max released a new trailer for Creature Commandos (see below).  This animated series (see "'Creature Commandos'") will stream exclusively on Max in December 2024.

AMC dropped trailers for two The Walking Dead series, one for Dead City (featuring the Neagin and Maggie characters) and one for Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol (see below for both).  Dead City, starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (see "'Negan Lives"), will stream in 2025.  Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol streams on September 29, 2024 on AMC and AMC+.

Disney+ and BBC Television announced that a Doctor Who spinoff is in the works.  The War Between Land and the Sea will be a five-part series starring Russell Tovey, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jemma Redgrave, and Alexander Devrient.  The plotline was described as follows: "When a fearsome and ancient species emerges from the ocean, dramatically revealing themselves to humanity, an international crisis is triggered.  With the entire population at risk, UNIT steps into action as the land and sea wage war."  The first season of Doctor Who to stream on Disney+ launched on May 10, 2024 (see "'Doctor Who’ Trailer").
