A new magazine about comics with some high-profile names attached, including the co-editors of the Eisner Award-winning PanelxPanel, will launch in early 2025 and is currently raising funds on Kickstarter.
The Comics Courier, edited by Tiffany Babb (co-editor of PanelxPanel), will feature in-depth essays and reviews by Douglas Wolk (All of the Marvels, Reading Comics), Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou (Babb’s co-editor at PanelxPanel), Babb, Dave Baker (Forest Hills Bootleg Society), Carrie McClain, Sean Dillon (PanelxPanel), Kat Calamia (Newsarama, IGN) , Lisa and Brad Gullickson (Comic Book Couples Counseling), Liam McGuire (Comic Frontier), Jim McDermott, and Lillie Hochwender (PanelxPanel).
The format of the twice-yearly publication will be a tabloid-sized newspaper. There is a retailer tier on the Kickstarter. The first issue will be released in February of 2025.
