This TTRPG is based on The Magnus Archives podcast, a series that weaves tales of horror from statements recorded for research at the fictional Magnus Institute. The TTRPG allows players to enter the archives and encounter strange beings like the NotThem, the Anglerfish, and the Man Upon the Stair. The game runs on the Cipher System, and this book offers players everything they need to get started playing episodic adventures within this setting including a system for players to generate their own statements for the Magnus Institute.
