Games Workshop will release a new Warhammer: The Old World battalion, plus an expansion book and accessories, in January. The Empire of Man Battalion includes 30 Stat Troops with halberds, spears, or swords and shields, and 30 Missile Troops with crossbows or handguns. The units can be built as two 15-man units or as single units of 30. The set also includes a Steam Tank and two new Empire of Man Infantry transfer sheets with 290 individual decals.
Arcane Journal: Empire of Man is a 48-page softcover with lor and background for the Empire of Man, along with rules for two Armies of Infamy (City-state of Nuln and the Empire of Man Knightly orders); background and rules for characters including Grand Master of the Knights Panther Harald Gemunsen and General Hans von Lowenhacke, and for units; rules of Knightly Order upgrades, and Empire of Man magic items. Requires Warhammer: The Old World rulebook and Warhammer: The Old World – Forces of Fantasy to play.
Warhammer: The Old World accessories include Empire of Man Reference Card Pack, a 36-card set of magic items and other useful info; Empire of Man Dice Set, with 20 pearlescent red dice with gold pips and the Warhammer Ghal Maraz ont eh six face; Empire of Man Transfer Sheet, with 766 decals.
