Thames & Kosmos unveiled a new edition of Caesar & Cleopatra, a classic strategy card game, which will hit retail in fall of 2025.
Caesar & Cleopatra, designed by Wolfgang Ludtke, was originally released in 1997 and has since sold over 350,000 copies. It is a two-player card game where players take on the roles of either Julius Caesar or Cleopatra and attempt to influence Roman officials in an effort to gain power. Caesar is looking to expand Romes influence over Egypt, while Cleopatra is trying to maintain her kingdom's independence from Rome.
The new edition features a complete makeover of the game, adding updated illustrations and a modern box and card design. This game supports two players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 40 minutes. It will retail for $19.95.
Thames & Kosmos has also announced four new EXIT: The Game titles for 2025 (see "'EXIT' Plans").
