DC Comics has revealed its Free Comic Book Day lineup, which was not included in the initial 2025 announcements (see "Silver Sponsors Announced for Free Comic Book Day 2025").
DC All In/Absolute Universe 2025 FCBD Special Edition #1 will be a flipbook with a prequel to Superman Unlimited (see "DC to Launch New All In Series"), by writer Dan Slott and artist Rafael Albuquerque, on one side and a currently untitled Absolute Universe story on the other. The Absolute story, by Jeff Lemire, Giuseppe Camuncoli and Stefano Nesi, will feature Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and a new character. The basic comic will be free, but DC is also offering a variant with a foil cover by Albuquerque, Camuncoli, Nesi, and Frank Martin that will have an MSRP of $4.99.
Two more DC titles will preview their upcoming graphic novels for young readers, Superman’s Good Guy Gang and Kanga-U: Tests and Tournaments.
Superman’s Good Guy Gang, by Rob Justus, is the first title in DC’s new early-readers line (see "DC Launches Early-Readers Graphic Novel Line"), pitched at readers aged 5 to 7. The graphic novel is due out in July 2025.
Kanga-U, by Sholly Fisch and Yancey Labat, spotlights the floppy-eared Kangas of Wonder Woman’s home island of Themyscira; the midde-grade graphic novel is slated for release in June 2025 (see "Exclusive: DC Reveals Five Middle-Grade Graphic Novels").
