Dark Horse Comics has announced a new Umbrella Academy series.  The Umbrella Academy: Plan B, co-written by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, with art by Bá, is set immediately after the events of Hotel Oblivion and features The Sparrows, the siblings of the Umbrella Academy.  The first issue will be released on June 11, 2025, with covers by Fabio Moon, Claire Roe, Mike del Mundo, Duncan Fegredo, David Aja, Jill Thompson, and others.

The Umbrella Academy: Plan B is the fourth arc of the series, which launched in 2007 (see "Dark Horse Previews ‘The Umbrella Academy’") and won both an Eisner Award (see "Dark Horse, DC Top Eisners") and a Harvey Award (see "2008 Harvey Awards").  Netflix has adapted it into a live-action series, with the fourth season premiering in August 2024 (see "‘Umbrella Academy’ S4"), and it has also been adapted into a board game (see "Mantic Creates Board Games Division").
