Renegade Game Studios announced Ikusa: Samurai Swords - 40th Anniversary Edition, a new edition of the Avalon Hill strategy game, which will head to a crowd-funding campaign on Gamefound in fall 2025.
This Avalon Hill strategy board game was last released in 2011 via Hasbro (see " Review: 'Ikusa' (Board Game)"). In this game, players take control of warring clans that are battling for control of feudal Japan. The goal of the game is to outmaneuver opponents and claim the title of Shogun. The new edition will feature enhanced artwork as well as deluxe components.
This game is for two to five players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 240 minutes. It will hit Gamefound on September 30, 2025.
