Each eligible Store will run 4 Qualifiers, creating a team where the 4 winners from their local community will go on to represent their store in the Playoffs to crown the Best Team in the Play! Pokémon Team Challenge – Season 3.
Qualifiers begin January 15 in the Standard Format following the Swiss + Top cut Structure with Qualifiers ending on May 8. Players can only register and play events for 3 Stores. Geographical restrictions apply: only eligible countries and players are locked in the country of residence / players in the U.S. are locked into their state.
Playoffs will begin after the Qualifiers in the Standard Format following a Team vs Team Structure within a Single Elimination Bracket. The Team representing each Play! Pokémon Store in the Playoffs will be composed by the winners of each one of their 4 Qualifier events. Team Challenge culminates in a Grand Final between the top two Store Teams.
