In previous years the show was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, the busiest days of the week for many pop culture retailers. This year the Comic Book Expo will be held on Sunday, July 22nd and Monday, July 23rd a move that organizers hope will boost attendance.
Bloodthirsty Card Game to Bow in Late 2001

Initially the game will have about 230-250 cards with four different theme decks (55 cards each) for each of the competing forces: Orks, Marines, Chaos, and Eldar. Decks will be packed 12 per display.

DVD Sales Up 300% in 2000

In a report released last week, the National Association of Recording Merchandisers, the trade organization for record and music stores, announced that DVD sales surpassed sales of VHS in that channel for the first time in 2000.
