Hip-Hop Manga Movie to Debut in 2006

Wizard Press's Anime Insider is reporting that MTV has licensed the anime movie based on Santa Inoue's hip-hop manga, Tokyo Tribes , for a U.S. release in 2006.

Central Park Media has announced the re-pricing of its Asia Pulp Cinema titles. Single DVD releases will now retail for $9.95, with DVD collections starting and $19.95 and up.

Viz will release the Full Metal Alchemist manga series beginning in June 2005. This is one of the big properties of the coming year, based on its history in Japan and the ratings the anime received in its debut on Adult Swim.
