Illumination Entertainment’s animated Dr. Suess’ The Grinch easily took the box office crown with an estimated $66 million, while two other newcomers, the Nazi zombie fantasy Overlord and the Lisabeth Salander thriller The Girl in the Spider’s Web faltered.
